Candid Clicks was founded in 2019 with a simple yet powerful vision — to transform the way wedding photography is experienced in Asansol and West Bengal. What started as one photographer with a camera and a dream has blossomed into a full-service creative studio.
Our founder, Sammytal Patra, grew up in the vibrant lanes of Asansol, surrounded by the colours, rituals, and raw emotions of Bengali celebrations. This deep-rooted understanding of local traditions, combined with a cinematic artistic vision, became the foundation of Candid Clicks.
Today, with 7+ years of experience and 500+ weddings captured, we remain committed to one belief: every couple's love story deserves to be told with authenticity, artistry, and heart.

Candid Clicks was born in a small studio near Jubilee Petrol Pump, Asansol. Armed with passion and a single Canon camera, we captured our first wedding.
Despite the pandemic, we adapted to intimate ceremonies and reached our first 100 weddings. Added cinematic videography to our services.
Moved to our current studio beside ISKCON Temple. Invested in Sony mirrorless systems and DJI drones for aerial coverage.
Our first destination wedding in Rajasthan marked the start of pan-India coverage. Covered weddings in Goa, Shimla, and Darjeeling.
